- As a long-time 'motor head', I have always loved cars, bikes & motorsport. I raced karts, then production cars - before switching to writing about the industry and the sport. I contributed to many print-media publications between 1992 and 1998, before establishing CarZone - South Africa's first stand-alone motoring portal. In 2001 I co-founded Wheels24 before joining iX Motoring - and have since worked for numerous online titles, including Autoworld, Cars in Action, Netcars, Bikeweb, Auto Review, Motorlive, Ecodrive, Motor Scene and CarQ - before launching MOTOR Media Ltd. In addition, I have also been involved with corporate communication for multiple motor vehicle & motorcycle manufacturers, importers & dealer groups, including Subaru SA, Honda SA, Nissan SA, Tata SA, SMG, CMH and others. My other interests include future mobility & alternative energy living, including motoring - especially the technology side, specifically pertaining to the future of motoring & motorsport.
